At long last I have my connection back again! I'm afraid it took a complain to Head Office who, when I said that I had to wait a week for a new modem told me that they could send a new one next day by recorded delivery - strange that isn't it?
Its weird, when I didn't have a connection at home I knew I could access my emails at work where I'm online all day, not surfing, well only at lunchtimes, not unlike one of my co-workers who is working on everyone's last nerve by blatantly surfing all day! I know, I know, I should say something but its difficult when I don't personally sit by her and can see her doing it, my revenge is making her answer the phone all day!
So, last Tuesday there I was happily doing my work when I couldn't access a site I use all the time, of course when we went to reboot, no internet access at all, including our email system so we had no internet for over 36 hours - how useful is that when we rely on the internet for all our work!

I'm not too chipper as my broadband connection is playing up big time and its causing me and Monkey Boy to have huge rows over it :cry:
Dear old Nigster is trying his best to help us, the last stage now is to take the modem box out to his and AM's home (sorry Valhalla's Palace!) and see if it works.
I spent over an hour on the phone to Tiscali last night and I'm sure they deliberately employ the quietest speaking CSRs (Customer Service Representative) they can just to frustrate me!
I can now sympathise wholeheartedly with Andaloo, and, if you wonder where I'm typing this don't forget I have broadband at work! :lol:

As its been really nice all over the weekend I decided to go to work in a pair of sandals and without a jacket, I think everyone is ahead of me here......yep it rained!
