I fly out to Orlando exactly 17 weeks today - this is going to be the longest time ever to wait for a holiday since we did Nat Fest last year! :lol:
Now, I'm trying to be good and think positively about my diet - I don't think its gonna be unreasonable to lose 2 stone in 17 weeks, after all some times I actually lose 7 lb in the first week!

Well, Mum and I went back to our class again after a month off and I had actually lost a pound from the last time I went! :lol:
I so did not deserve that boys and girls!
As for my dearest Mama.......well the naughty little girl put 4 lb on!

I'm going back to my slimming class (again) tonight. I've really mucked about this year although I don't think I've put on too much weight but I do feel really uncomfortable.
I want to lose at least 2 stone by the time we go away, which is the end of October, hopefully I may be able to lose a bit more! :lol:

Because the Czech Republic got through in an earlier round my brother John went into work today and told everyone that we're Czech - I suppose you would have to hear him tell the story to find it funny!

:lol: Whilst we were on hols last week, we went to the travel agents and booked our fly drive holiday to Orlando. Yes, yes I know its not Nat Fest but now Damian Lewis is going to be in 2 new BBC productions you can bet your bottom dollar that a certain someone will be thinking about coming over just to see that! lolol :lol:
We're gonna be in the States for Halloween. Now, over here in dear old Blighty not much of a fuss is made over Halloween, you find the occasional group of kids here and there trick or treating and quite a bit of stuff in the card shops but other than that nada. So the big thing is (a) will I get a big case of "culture shock" and (b) how old can you get away with trick or treating (please say 36, please say 36......)

It's AM and my birthday tomorrow - we will be 36 fact fans!
Last year John and Anj (my brother and sister in law) threw us a barbeque to celebrate and we had a great time!
Well this year it clashes with England's first match in Euro 2004 but we're still going ahead. I have a cunning plan, I intend to be drunk as a skunk by 7.45 so, if we lose, I won't care!
The weather is absolutely glorious over here at the moment and they have a fantastic patio at the back of the house which is perfect for lounging about and listening to music loud whilst the food is burning lol
I have a task for my big bro - he is a war film fanatic (like I am!) and I bought an early birthday present to myself a collection of war themes on cd - I am gonna have the time of my life testing him and mocking him when he gets them wrong, hey its a sibling thing! :lol:

Sorry I haven't been around much of late, its just that I can't think of anything interesting to say!
I enjoyed the story of Nat's Road Trip - I wish I could have been there its my ambition to visit all the States, and yes, I do even count the the time I went to Philly because I was there for over an hour!
I watched the D Day Commemoration on the BBC on Sunday, it was so sad when they showed the gravestones, too many young men died, we can never repay what they did for us.

:lol: Yayy - June is here, its my favourite month, and thats not just because its my birthday in the middle I just love the long evenings and the warmness of the weather!
It was my sister-in-law Kathy's 21st birthday yesterday and Pauline held a surprise birthday party for her. When Perry brought her in she cried which was really sweet, mind you it must be difficult to celebrate your birthday in a country that you have only lived in for 2 years without your family and just your inlaws!
